Apple is preparing a broad hardware refresh for the first half of 2026, according to a 10 July Bloomberg report. The roadmap is said to include a lower-priced iPhone 17e, several new iPad models and updated Mac computers, headed by a revamped MacBook Pro. Supply-chain analysts and code references reported by MacRumors and other outlets indicate that Apple is also developing a budget 13-inch MacBook, internally tagged “Mac17,1.” The machine would depart from the company’s M-series strategy by using an A18 Pro iPhone processor, a change that could allow Apple to offer its most affordable notebook to date. If the timing holds, the spring 2026 rollout would be Apple’s largest early-year product push in several years, expanding its line-up at lower price points while the company continues its customary flagship launches later in the year. Apple declined to comment on the reports.
