A series of coordinated ransomware attacks has targeted various organizations across the globe, compromising sensitive data and demanding hefty ransoms. Notable victims include US Federal Credit Union #1364 with a $200,000 ransom, American Renal Associates ($1,000,000), Mainvest, Tocci ($100,000), JVC Kenwood ($500,000), Duvel (88 GB of data exfiltrated), Merchant ID (50 GB), SP Mundi (8 GB), New York Home Healthcare (330 GB), Palmer Construction (475 GB), RMH Franchise (1.5 TB), Chocotopia (33 GB), Mission Régionale pour l'Emploi de Liège (MIREL) (19 GB), P-Fleet (22 GB), Van der Helm (39 GB), Elsap Spa (49 GB), and the Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) (1.08 TB), among others. The attacks, attributed to ransomware groups such as Medusa, Play, Stormous, RansomHub, BianLian, Qilin, LockBit 3.0, DoNex, and Cactus, have led to the exfiltration of vast amounts of data, ranging from personal and financial information to technical designs and confidential documents. Ransom demands have varied, with some reaching up to $1 million. Additionally, the French government reported an "unprecedented cyberattack" targeting all government agencies, described as "intense" by the French Prime Minister's office.
