Hermes 2 Pro 7B: A Collaboration Between NousResearch, Teknium1 Sets AI Benchmark

The tech community is abuzz with the release of the Hermes 2 Pro 7B, a cutting-edge AI model developed through a collaboration between NousResearch, Teknium1, and other partners. This latest iteration in the Hermes series significantly enhances its predecessors by incorporating advanced function calling and JSON mode capabilities, along with Open Hermes 2.5 + VLLM + XTTS + Whisper technologies. The model, which is built on an updated and cleaned version of the Hermes 2 dataset, is designed to facilitate the development of recursive AI agents with in-context agentic abilities. It has been fine-tuned on over 15,000 function calls and a specialized dataset comprising 500 function calling examples, setting a new benchmark in the field.
