Brazil’s Eduarda Moura defeated veteran Lauren Murphy by unanimous decision at UFC Nashville on Saturday, earning 29–28 scores from all three judges and extending her UFC record to two consecutive wins. The matchup marked the final appearance for the 41-year-old Murphy, a former women’s flyweight title challenger who last fought in 2023 and had signalled her intention to retire following a layoff caused by injury and illness. Murphy opened the bout with an early takedown and threatened with a tight third-round guillotine, but the younger Moura controlled much of the action with sharper striking and timely grappling exchanges to secure the three-round victory.
