Brazilian bantamweight prospect Alice Pereira will become the youngest woman ever to compete in the Ultimate Fighting Championship when she meets Montserrat Rendon at Noche UFC 3 on Sept. 13 at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. Pereira will step into the octagon at 19 years, eight months and 24 days, eclipsing the previous mark set in 2017 by South Korea’s Chan Mi Jeon. Pereira, nicknamed “Golden Girl,” brings an undefeated 6 – 0 professional record and an 84 percent finish rate, including four knockouts. The São Paulo-born fighter secured her UFC contract shortly after her most recent win earlier this year. Rendon, a 37-year-old Mexican bantamweight with a 6 – 1 record, returns from an 18-month hiatus. She won her promotional debut against Tamires Vidal but dropped a unanimous decision to Darya Zheleznyakova in her second outing. The Pereira-Rendon matchup rounds out a Noche UFC 3 card that also features bouts such as Diego Lopes vs. Jean Silva and Norma Dumont vs. Raquel Pennington.
