Her remarks came as Committee Chair James Comer presses an investigation into whether Biden’s senior aides concealed signs of cognitive deterioration; O’Connor, Biden’s longtime physician, invoked the Fifth Amendment during portions of the deposition, according to Comer. The committee has not announced its next steps, but Comer signaled additional subpoenas and public hearings are likely as lawmakers seek to determine whether any official reports on Biden’s health were suppressed. The White House has not commented on Crockett’s statements or the committee’s probe.
