NASA is undergoing one of its largest workforce reductions in decades, with nearly 4,000 employees opting to leave the agency through a voluntary deferred resignation program supported by the Trump administration. Industry observers have expressed concerns that the departure of such a large number of experienced personnel could weaken the agency's foundational capabilities and impact its future operations and global standing.
