Harris Memoir “107 Days” Set for Sept. 23 Release

Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will publish a memoir, “107 Days,” on Sept. 23 through Simon & Schuster. The title refers to the 107-day span of her 2024 presidential bid, described by historians as the shortest modern campaign for the White House. Simon & Schuster Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Karp said the book offers a candid, behind-the-scenes narrative and "addresses everything we would want her to address." Financial terms were not disclosed. Harris headed the Democratic ticket after President Joe Biden withdrew last July and ultimately lost the November election to Republican Donald Trump. She has since ruled out a 2026 run for California governor. Harris is scheduled to give her first interview since leaving office on CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on July 31.
