Investor and business confidence has surged following President Donald Trump's election victory, with multiple surveys indicating increased optimism about the U.S. economy. A CNBC poll shows that 51% of Americans expect their personal financial situation to improve under Trump's leadership, a 10-point increase from 2016. Small business confidence has soared by 41 points since the election, reaching the highest levels since June 2020, as the net percent of small business owners expecting the economy to improve rose 41 points to a net 36%. CEOs anticipate economic improvement in the first half of 2025, with 77% expecting global economic conditions to get better. The Bank of America Global Fund Manager Survey reveals that fund managers have reduced cash holdings to a record low of 3.9% of total assets under management, the lowest since at least 2021, and are 14% underweight cash. Allocation to U.S. equities has surged to a record high, driven by 'Trump 2.0' U.S. growth optimism and expectations of a compliant, rate-cutting Federal Reserve. The survey indicates that 60% of investors predict a 'soft landing' for the economy, and 60% say there will be no global recession in the next 18 months. However, some analysts caution that such extreme bullishness could be a signal to sell global equities, referencing previous instances where low cash allocations preceded market downturns. Additionally, investors are most overweight U.S. equities relative to Eurozone equities since June 2012, and allocations to commodities are at their lowest since June 2017. A majority of Americans are ready to support President Trump's agenda, with 54% approving of how he is handling the transition process, according to the Monmouth poll. Trump's favorability rating has reached 51%, surpassing his unfavorability rating for the first time since he entered politics.

TRUMP BEATS 'EM ALL His approval rating is in the mid-50s percentile. Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden aren't even close, and he hasn't even taken office yet. @SteveGruberShow https://t.co/44iGaSCnez
