Comedian and “Flagrant” podcast host Andrew Schulz said he regrets voting for President Donald Trump, telling listeners that the administration is reversing the pledges that won his support in the 2024 election. In a podcast episode released this week, Schulz complained that Trump is “funding” the foreign conflicts he promised to end and expanding federal spending instead of cutting it. Schulz, who interviewed Trump on his show during the 2024 campaign, said he believed at the time that the Republican would rein in overseas military commitments and reduce the federal budget. “Everything he campaigned on I believed he wanted to do, and now he’s doing the exact opposite,” the comedian said. Schulz added that constituents who backed Trump as a break from the political establishment are now questioning whether any elected leaders can deliver substantive change.
