Gold prices declined amid optimism over trade talks between the United States and China as well as signals from former President Donald Trump regarding a potential trade deal with Britain. Market participants are closely watching the Federal Reserve's upcoming policy decision, which is expected to influence market sentiment. U.S. stock futures and Wall Street showed gains driven by hopes for progress in U.S.-China trade negotiations. The price of gold fell by more than 1% as investors reacted to these developments, reflecting a shift in risk appetite tied to trade discussions and monetary policy expectations.
