Albany NanoTech's advanced machinery will bring top industry leaders, universities, innovators, and entrepreneurs together under one roof. It will strengthen our national security and keep us ahead of China. Because of funding we delivered last year, my CHIPS & Science Law is https://t.co/yOCIwlJ5yF
The first National Semiconductor Technology Center in the United States officially opened at Albany NanoTech, marking a milestone in American semiconductor research and development. This center was established through funding provided by the CHIPS & Science Law passed last year, which was designed with Upstate New York in mind. The facility houses the most advanced chip-making machinery globally and aims to consolidate top industry leaders, universities, innovators, and entrepreneurs under one roof. The initiative is intended to reinforce U.S. national security and maintain technological leadership over China. Separately, Illinois is advancing its technology sector through Tech Incubator Enhancement Grants, supporting its start-up ecosystem and innovation-driven economic growth.
