Anduril Industries, a defense technology startup led by executive chairman Trae Stephens, has closed a $2.5 billion Series G funding round that more than doubles its valuation to $30.5 billion. The funding round was led by Founders Fund, which invested $1 billion, and was reportedly oversubscribed by more than eight times. This latest valuation marks a substantial increase from $14 billion in August 2024. Anduril, founded by Palmer Luckey and backed by Peter Thiel, is focused on scaling autonomous military systems and developing AI-driven defense technologies. The company is also partnering with firms such as Meta and Palantir to advance its defense initiatives. The new capital will support manufacturing and expansion efforts as Anduril consolidates its position as a leading next-generation defense prime. The company, headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, celebrated its eighth anniversary amidst this funding milestone.
