This initiative quickly sold out, particularly after a surge in subscriptions from Chinese users. Pro members holding the NFT became eligible for an airdrop of $PRO tokens, with initial recipients receiving tokens valued between $40 and $120, effectively covering or exceeding the subscription cost. The airdrop required users to participate by quoting a specific governance phrase on the platform and waiting for an official response to claim the tokens in their built-in Solana wallets. Farcaster has raised over $1.2 million to support creators, developers, and users, with all Pro subscription proceeds funneled back into weekly rewards pools to incentivize content creation and ecosystem development. Additionally, a new mini app called Noice has been introduced on Farcaster, allowing users to send tokens automatically to content creators through likes, reposts, replies, quotes, or follows, further enhancing user engagement and monetization opportunities within the platform.
