
Dubai-based social media startup Hunch has successfully raised $23 million in a Series A funding round. The company, known for its anonymous polling service, boasts over 1 million users across 22 Indian cities and has recently peaked as a Top 25 app in the social category on the App Store. The funding round was led by notable investors including Alpha Wave and Hashed. Hunch plans to use the new capital to launch its app in the US and expand its presence in the Indian market. In another significant funding event, The Ayurveda Experience, a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) startup, secured $27 million in a Series C funding round. This round was led by Singapore-based venture capital firm Jungle Ventures. The Ayurveda Experience aims to utilize the funds for research and development, brand building, and improving its manufacturing and supply chain to solidify its global footprint.
