Mintlify, a company focused on building a next-generation platform for writing software documentation, has announced an $18 million Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. The company, which launched less than two years ago, has quickly grown to power documentation for thousands of fast-growing startups, including notable names like Anthropic, Perplexity, Cursor, Pinecone, and Zapier. The investment highlights the increasing importance of high-quality documentation in the AI era, with Mintlify being recognized as a modern standard in this space. Valor Equity Partners, Day One Ventures, Friends and Family Capital, and 20Growth also participated in the funding round. The company is led by @handotdev and JenniferHli, and more than 20% of the latest Y Combinator batch uses Mintlify.
