Resolv Labs, a blockchain project backed by a $10 million seed round including Coinbase, has announced its roadmap for the launch of its Delta-neutral stablecoin, Resolv. The stablecoin operates by hedging collateral price volatility through contract mechanisms, similar to the ENA stablecoin but with reduced risk due to its Delta-neutral strategy. Resolv Labs plans to distribute 10% of its total 1 billion token supply through an initial airdrop. Participants who have provided liquidity must register for the airdrop by May 16 to be eligible. The airdropped tokens will be staked at the token generation event (TGE) and will require a 14-day unstaking period before they can be freely traded. The project has faced criticism for its airdrop registration process, which some community members describe as overly complex and restrictive, involving multiple steps such as KYC and pre-registration. Concerns have also been raised about potential adverse price movements following the TGE, with warnings against buying $RESOLV tokens immediately at launch due to expected negative price action.
