France has strongly condemned Israel's approval of the E1 settlement project in the West Bank, describing it as a serious violation of international law that threatens to undermine the two-state solution. The French Foreign Ministry called on Israel to abandon the plan, which involves the construction of approximately 3,400 housing units. Germany has also rejected the E1 settlement plan, labeling it an illegal act and urging Israel to halt settlement activities immediately. The Palestinian Foreign Ministry characterized the approval as an acknowledgment of settlement crimes amounting to genocide and forced displacement. Additionally, the Dutch Foreign Minister condemned the plan, stating it would divide the occupied West Bank into two parts and make the establishment of a future Palestinian state nearly impossible, emphasizing the plan's clear violation of international law.
