President Donald Trump has added a new portrait of himself to the West Wing, continuing a series of personal artworks installed in the White House since he returned to office in January. The latest image, shared by deputy assistant Sebastian Gorka, shows the president in a navy suit and red tie striding past American flags against a vivid orange background. The White House has not yet disclosed the identity of the artist or who paid for the work. The picture follows several recent additions, including a painting unveiled earlier this year that depicts Trump pumping his fist moments after surviving last summer’s assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Other pieces show the president with former Republican leaders Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, and one with his face painted in the pattern of the U.S. flag. Gorka hinted that further portraits are planned.
