Vercel has launched a new multimodal AI model optimized for web development, integrated into its v0 UI and code generation tool. The model is accessible through Vercel's API, AI SDK, and AI playground, enabling developers to utilize advanced AI capabilities in their workflows. Additionally, the new models can be used with Cursor by configuring a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint and are compatible with OpenAI Codex CLI. Vercel's AI SDK now supports these models, allowing seamless integration within development environments. Separately, Replicate announced support for running OpenAI's latest models, including GPT-4.1, GPT-4o, and the o-series.
