Phison showcased its next-generation AI and storage technologies, including the flagship E28 PCIe 5.0 controller, which demonstrated competitive advantages over rivals. Synology introduced the BeeStation Plus, an 8TB cloud-connected, plug-and-play storage device featuring native Plex integration and AI-driven file organization. Intel revealed new AI-focused Arc Pro B50 and B60 workstation GPUs designed to compete with Nvidia's high-end RTX cards, emphasizing mid-range market dominance and the ability to stack up to four GPUs for enhanced performance. Intel also previewed Project Battlematrix, a Xeon-based AI development workstation, and announced Gaudi 3 AI accelerators. Nvidia is reportedly developing the RTX 5080 Super GPU, which will feature 24GB of VRAM, a 50% increase over the base model, targeting AI workloads. Additionally, AMD announced new processors for AI-powered PCs and workstations and previewed the 'Redstone' update to its FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 4 technology, incorporating machine learning enhancements. Western Digital expanded its AI and disaggregated storage offerings, while ADATA demonstrated its fastest SSDs. Synology also launched the PAS7700, an enterprise NVMe storage solution with active-active architecture delivering 2 million IOPS. The event highlighted a competitive landscape in AI hardware and storage, with Intel, Nvidia, AMD, Phison, Synology, Western Digital, and ADATA all advancing their product portfolios to address growing AI and data demands.
