Perplexity Introduces Reasoning Mode in Pro Search, Limited to 10 Times, Powered by OpenAI's o1 Model

Perplexity has introduced a new Reasoning Mode in its Perplexity Pro search for desktop, powered by OpenAI's o1 model. The new feature enhances search capabilities by integrating reasoning with web search data. Unlike the previously available BETA Reasoning focus, the new mode operates without a query limit counter. Users can now utilize reasoning capabilities with search, which automatically detects extra compute requirements to trigger the feature. The Reasoning Mode is limited to 10 times.
