Several major automotive manufacturers have issued large-scale recalls affecting hundreds of thousands of vehicles due to safety concerns. Stellantis has recalled approximately 238,000 vehicles, including Peugeot 308 models, over a risk of fuel leakage that could potentially cause fires. Additional issues involve seatbelt defects prompting recalls of certain Stellantis vehicles. Ford has announced a recall of over 103,000 F-150 trucks due to a problem with the rear axle hub bolt, as well as a separate recall in South Africa covering various Ranger, Mustang, Everest, Transit Custom, and EcoSport models. Other brands such as Range Rover and Nissan are also included in a broader recall affecting over 300,000 vehicles. Authorities have warned that these technical defects pose fire hazards and other safety risks. Separately, wireless power banks have been recalled due to risks of fires and explosions.
