The Public Prosecutor's Office of Paraíba has filed a lawsuit seeking the suspension and monetization halt of all social media profiles belonging to digital influencer Hytalo Santos. He is under investigation for alleged exploitation of minors, following accusations made in a video by fellow influencer Felca that highlighted how digital platforms can facilitate crimes against children and adolescents. The Justice of Paraíba authorized search and seizure operations at Santos's residence in João Pessoa, resulting in the confiscation of his cell phones and recording equipment. However, police found the house emptied of items prior to their arrival, with vehicles leaving the premises shortly before the execution of the warrant. Authorities have indicated that this removal of items may constitute obstruction of justice, potentially leading to preventive detention. The judge overseeing the case stated that the seized materials will undergo forensic examination, and both Santos and the parents of the minors involved will be interviewed to investigate possible crimes. Santos has denied any wrongdoing, asserting that he has always acted within the law. Following these events, Santos's legal defense withdrew from the case, and the court authorized further search warrants, including one targeting Santos and his husband less than 24 hours after the initial action. During the police operation, some locked doors, a running washing machine, and children's bicycles were found inside the residence. Santos is currently prohibited from certain activities as part of the ongoing investigation.
