Brazilian skateboarder Rayssa Leal captured the Brasília stop of the Street League Skateboarding (SLS) tour on Sunday, scoring 21.8 points to win the women’s final held on the Esplanada dos Ministérios before an estimated 15,000 spectators. Compatriots Gabriela Mazetto and Duda Ribeiro completed an all-Brazilian podium with 14.0 and 13.7 points, respectively. The competition marked the first time SLS staged an event in Brazil’s capital and introduced the tour’s new “Spot Takeover” format to the country. Each athlete attempted seven tricks, with the three highest scores determining the final tally. Leal’s decisive 8.0-point sixth run widened her margin to nearly eight points, effectively sealing her fourth career SLS title. Sunday’s victory adds to Leal’s season-opening win in Miami and strengthens her bid for the Super Crown finals scheduled for December at São Paulo’s Ginásio do Ibirapuera. The SLS circuit continues in Cleveland on 9 August and Paris on 11 October.
