Dutch hurdler Femke Bol strengthened her dominance in the women’s 400-metre hurdles, clocking a world-leading 51.95 seconds at Friday’s Monaco Diamond League meeting. The mark shaved 0.35 seconds off the previous 2025 best and set a new meeting record, while extending Bol’s winning streak in the event to 28 straight Diamond League races. Dalilah Muhammad of the United States finished second in 52.58 seconds, lowering her own world record for athletes aged 35 and older that she set last month in Stockholm. Fellow American Anna Cockrell was third in 52.91 seconds. The performance confirms Bol, 24, as the favourite for next month’s World Championships and highlights Muhammad’s continued competitiveness in her final season.
