YouTube and the National Football League said Colombian pop star Karol G will headline the halftime show for the 2025 NFL São Paulo Game on 5 September. The Week 1 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers at Corinthians Arena will mark YouTube’s first exclusive live broadcast of an NFL game. The streaming platform plans to air its pre-game show at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Brazilian singer Ana Castela will perform Brazil’s national anthem, while U.S. composer and saxophonist Kamasi Washington will deliver “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The event extends the NFL’s push into international markets and deepens its partnership with YouTube, which is positioning the broadcast as a showcase of Latin American culture alongside American football.
Excited to announce that @karolg will perform at the first-ever @NFL game live on @youtube on September 5, streamed from São Paulo. A huge thank you to our partners at the @NFL for helping us bring football to billions of fans around the world. Read more in @APNews:
