Natasha Archer, senior private executive assistant to the Prince and Princess of Wales, is leaving Kensington Palace after 15 years to establish a private consultancy, the palace confirmed on Wednesday. In a statement, the household said both Princess Catherine and Prince William "wish Natasha the very best for the exciting opportunities ahead." Archer, 37, joined the royal staff in 2010, the year of the couple’s engagement, and rose to become an indispensable aide and unofficial stylist, helping shape the Princess’s public image on tours and state occasions. Her work earned her the Royal Victorian Order in 2019 and a promotion to senior private executive assistant in 2022, a role that covered clothing, diary management and projects. Married to Getty Images royal photographer Chris Jackson and mother of two, Archer is expected to disclose details of her consultancy in the coming months. Her departure coincides with Princess Catherine’s gradual return to public duties following cancer treatment, marking a period of transition for the Wales household.
