Former National Basketball Association center Dwight Howard is headed for divorce six months after his wedding. Court documents filed in Georgia show that Amber Rose Howard, the rapper and reality-TV performer known professionally as Amy Luciani, petitioned on 1 July to dissolve the marriage, saying it is “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation.” Luciani, 35, is asking a judge to divide marital assets equitably and to award her alimony. No date has been set for a hearing, and representatives for either party have not publicly commented on the filing. Howard, 39, and Luciani began dating publicly in December 2024, announced their engagement the same month and wed on 11 January 2025. The eight-time NBA All-Star ended his 18-season league career in 2023 and has since played in the three-on-three BIG3 competition.
