Influencer Gigi Gorgeous and philanthropist Nats Getty have filed for divorce in Los Angeles nearly six years after their high-profile wedding in July 2019. Court documents submitted on 2 July cite irreconcilable differences and record the couple’s separation date as 27 February. The filing notes there are no minor children, although the pair previously disclosed they had created six embryos through in-vitro fertilisation. Under the terms of their premarital agreement, spousal support will be payable to Gigi Gorgeous, according to the petition. In a joint statement, representatives for the couple said the split is amicable and that they "remain friends and have the utmost love and respect for each other." Both spouses are transgender and have been vocal advocates for LGBTQ+ visibility; Getty publicly came out as transgender and non-binary in 2021. Their divorce ends a relationship that began in 2016 and was closely followed by millions on social media.
