Fox News senior White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich said she is engaged to Republican Representative Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania. The couple confirmed the news on 9 July after Heinrich posted a brief “Fact check: true” message on social media. Fitzpatrick proposed at sunrise on 29 June in a lavender field near Valensole in southern France, according to an interview Heinrich gave to People magazine. The trip had been planned as a birthday gift and was shortened to less than 48 hours so the congressman could return to Capitol Hill for legislative votes. Heinrich, 36, and Fitzpatrick, 51, began dating in 2021. The pair intend to hold a Catholic church ceremony, but no wedding date has been set.
