Pedro Pascal is in advanced talks to head the cast of “Behemoth!,” the next feature from “Andor” creator Tony Gilroy, according to Deadline. Searchlight Pictures has boarded the project, which Gilroy will write, direct and produce with Sanne Wohlenberg. While plot details remain under wraps, Gilroy has said the drama centers on a cellist. Sources cited by Deadline describe Pascal’s deal as close to completion, with principal photography scheduled to begin in Los Angeles this fall. Release plans have not been announced. The prospective role would extend a busy stretch for Pascal. The actor has just finished filming Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday,” in which he portrays Reed Richards, and recently earned an Emmy nomination for HBO’s “The Last of Us.”
