World Wrestling Entertainment said Friday it has enlisted comedian Tony Hinchcliffe to host “WWE Late Night,” a closed-door comedy event scheduled for Aug. 2 at 11 p.m. Eastern at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey. The show will open the first night of SummerSlam 2025, the company’s annual marquee pay-per-view, which for the first time will span two evenings, Aug. 2-3, at MetLife Stadium in nearby East Rutherford. WWE said Hinchcliffe will be joined by a lineup of yet-to-be-named comedians, entertainers and WWE superstars. An exclusive presale runs June 30, with tickets available to the general public starting July 1 through Ticketmaster. The event will not be televised. The booking extends Hinchcliffe’s relationship with WWE after he hosted “The Roast of WrestleMania” during WrestleMania 41 week in Las Vegas this past April, an appearance that featured talent including The Miz, Sami Zayn and Hall of Famer Paul Heyman.
