The 2025 New York Comedy Festival unveiled a 10-day program that will bring more than 200 comedians to over 100 shows across the city’s five boroughs from 7–16 November. Now in its 21st year, the event will again use marquee venues such as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, the Beacon Theatre and Town Hall. Louis C.K. headlines two nights at the Beacon Theatre on 14 and 15 November with his new show “Ridiculous,” sharing top billing with fellow stand-ups Margaret Cho, Michael Blackson, Hannah Berner, Pete Holmes, Alex Edelman and Chris Fleming. A highlight of the schedule is a 25th-anniversary reunion of “Strangers With Candy,” reuniting Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello for a single performance at Town Hall on 8 November. Founder Caroline Hirsch said the lineup blends “global headliners and rising voices” as the festival continues to expand its footprint. Bread Financial cardholders can access a presale from 16–18 July, while tickets for all shows go on sale to the general public on 21 July at 11 a.m. Eastern.
