The team secured additional medals in the following days, with a notable contribution from rowing, which brought the eighth gold medal. By August 12, Chile had accumulated nine gold medals, and the count rose to eleven golds later that day, with cycling track events contributing two more golds. The medal count kept growing, and by August 15, Team Chile had reached a total of 31 medals, with cycling on the track dominating the recent podium finishes. One of the highlights was Felipe Olivero's gold medal win in taekwondo, marking the 14th gold for Chile at the games.
