Remedy Reports Disappointing FBC: Firebreak Sales, Plans Relaunch; Control Hits 5 Million Sales, Max Payne Remake Progresses
Remedy Entertainment has acknowledged disappointing sales for its multiplayer game FBC: Firebreak, describing the launch performance as commercially unsatisfactory. Despite the underwhelming reception and a declining player count on Steam, where concurrent users recently dropped below 75, Remedy remains optimistic about the game's potential and plans a significant relaunch to regain player interest. The company also noted that subscription console players currently outnumber those on PC. Meanwhile, Remedy continues development on Control 2, focusing on gameplay, environments, and missions, and maintains full production on the Max Payne 1 and 2 remake projects. Control has achieved lifetime sales of 5 million units.
