The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office has issued an alert for Alfredo Carballo Gonzalez, 32, and Ariely Alvarez Cabrera, 27, who are wanted in the killing of Daylon Fleitas, a 37-year-old Hialeah resident last seen on 3 August. Investigators say the pair may be traveling with a five-month-old baby whose safety is a concern. Fleitas was reported missing to Hialeah police on 4 August after telling relatives he planned to meet an acquaintance and failing to return home. Authorities have not disclosed how or where the victim died, but they advise that the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gonzalez, Cabrera or the infant to contact the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (305) 471-2400 or Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS. A reward of up to $5,000 is available for tips leading to an arrest.
