Several blockchain projects are launching token generation events (TGE) and airdrop activities in May and June 2025, targeting short-term high yields and community engagement. Echo Protocol announced an Odyssey event running from May 19 to June 20, allowing participants to deposit BTC, UBTC, WBTC, and FBTC for rewards, with a confirmed TGE in June. Aptos-based decentralized exchange Hyperion, in partnership with OKX Wallet, launched a campaign distributing a total of 30,278 APT tokens across two events, including a 18,939 APT airdrop and an 11,339 APT reward pool, supporting stablecoin mining with an annualized yield of 16.3% for USDT-USDC pairs. Hyperion is noted as the leading DEX by TVL on Aptos. Meanwhile, Aster DEX, backed by partners such as YZiLabs, PancakeSwap, and CoinMarketCap (CMC) Labs, debuted on the CMC Launchpad with a pre-TGE project expected to launch its token in June. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has actively endorsed Aster, which is seen as a strategic addition to Binance’s ecosystem, potentially positioning it as a competitor to HyperliquidX’s perpetual DEX. Both Aster and Hyperion are anticipated to release tokens in Q2 2025, with community-driven activities encouraging liquidity provision and trading volume to maximize rewards.
