Global leveraged equity funds have experienced approximately $14 billion in net inflows over the past two weeks, surpassing previous records seen during the 2020 recovery. More than half of these inflows have been directed into U.S. leveraged long ETFs. Concurrently, cash-like ETFs are on track for their largest monthly inflow in history, with April witnessing record inflows. Sector rotation within U.S. equities shows increased inflows into High Yield and Technology sectors, while Large Cap and Treasury sectors have seen outflows. The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO), the world's largest ETF valued at $608 billion, recorded nearly $21 billion in inflows in April, marking the highest monthly inflow in its 15-year history and the fifth largest monthly inflow ever recorded by any fund. Other ETFs such as SPY and TQQQ have experienced notable outflows during the same period.
