None of those named, including other Hollywood figures such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz, were accused of participating in Epstein’s sex-trafficking scheme, yet the filings have continued to fuel speculation about a so-called client list. The actor’s call intensifies pressure on the Justice Department after a joint DOJ–FBI memo earlier this month concluded that Epstein left no blackmail ledger and reaffirmed that he died by suicide in 2019. That finding drew bipartisan skepticism; a House Rules Committee vote on 14 July narrowly rejected, 5-to-7, an amendment from Rep. Ro Khanna that would have forced Attorney General Pam Bondi to publish all related records. Spacey, 65, has fought separate legal battles of his own. He was found not liable in a New York civil trial in 2022 and was acquitted of sexual-assault charges by a U.K. jury in 2023.
