Ethan Berrebi, a 23-year-old French influencer with 2.5 million TikTok followers, has been formally charged with rape and placed under judicial supervision by the Versailles prosecutor's office. The allegations stem from an incident on the night of July 12 to 13 in the Yvelines region, where an 18-year-old woman claims Berrebi forced her into a sexual act in a parked car after meeting her at a nightclub. During his police custody, Berrebi reportedly contacted his father, who then reached out to television host Cyril Hanouna to seek assistance. Hanouna confirmed the call from Berrebi's father but denied contacting the Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau. The investigation has also prompted involvement from the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN). Berrebi was released from custody but remains under judicial control as the inquiry continues.
