Veteran Spanish rider Mavi Garcia broke clear with 10 kilometres remaining to win the 110.4 km second stage of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes from Brest to Quimper. The 41-year-old Liv-AlUla-Jayco rider crossed the line three seconds ahead of the peloton, securing her first victory of the season. Lorena Wiebes of Team DSM sprinted to second place, while Kim Le Court Pienaar of Mauritius finished third and, thanks to time bonuses, moved into the overall race lead. Le Court replaces Dutch star Marianne Vos, who came in fifth after wearing the yellow jersey following her win in Saturday’s opening stage. Stage three on Monday will take the peloton over 162 km from La Gacilly to Angers, offering sprinters another opportunity before the race heads into hillier terrain later in the week.
