French rider Maeva Squiban attacked with 32 kilometres to go and stayed clear to win Stage 6 of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes, a 123.7-kilometre mountain stage from Clermont-Ferrand to Ambert. The UAE Team ADQ cyclist crossed the line around one minute ahead of the main favourites, delivering the first stage victory for a Frenchwoman in this year’s race and the third professional win of her career. The solo effort did not alter the top of the general classification: South Africa’s Kim Le Curt retained the yellow jersey. Riders now face a 159.7-kilometre Stage 7 to Chambéry, featuring three categorized climbs in the final 50 kilometres.
