Israel’s Foreign Ministry said on 18 August it will dispatch emergency humanitarian aid to South Sudan to help contain a deadly cholera outbreak. The shipment will include medical supplies, food and clean-water kits, according to official statements. The move comes a day after Israel facilitated the entry of 320 trucks of relief goods into Gaza and coordinated the airdrop of 161 pallets of supplies with nine partner nations, underscoring the country’s widened relief efforts in the region.
