The Minnesota Wild closed the 2025 NHL Draft in Los Angeles by selecting five players on Day 2 after entering the event without a first-round pick. Director of amateur scouting Judd Brackett began the haul with Swedish defenceman Theodor Hallquisth at No. 52. Centre Adam Benak went 102nd, followed in the fourth round by forwards Lirim Amidovski (121) and Carter Klippenstein (123), while defenceman Justin Kipkie completed the class at No. 141 in the fifth round. Brackett said the group brings a mix of assertive defending, puck-possession skill and physical forechecking. All five prospects are expected to continue in their respective junior or collegiate programs before convening for the Wild’s development camp in St. Paul this week.
