USA Hockey has named 42 players to its roster for the 2025 World Junior Summer Showcase, which runs July 25 through Aug. 2 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. The group comprises five goaltenders, 14 defensemen and 23 forwards and will compete in 11 international games against Canada, Finland and Sweden. Nine members of the U.S. squad that claimed gold at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship return, including defensemen Logan Hensler and Cole Hutson and forwards Cole Eiserman and James Hagens. Their inclusion gives the staff an early look at veterans seeking a third consecutive title at the 2026 tournament. The invitation list also features a wide cross-section of NHL prospects. Los Angeles Kings draftees Henry Brzustewicz, Caeden Herrington, Kristian Epperson and Brendan McMorrow join New York Islanders first-rounder Eiserman, Washington Capitals pick Hutson and Tampa Bay Lightning goaltending prospect Caleb Heil.
