Officials from the National Highways Authority of India joined Sabarkantha District Collector Lalit Narayan Singh Sandhu on 16 July for a field review of National Highway 48, covering the corridor between Chiloda in Gandhinagar district and Shamlaji in neighbouring Aravalli. The team, which included NHAI Project Manager Prajwal Mandal, examined recently completed bridges and service lanes that had faced repeated complaints from motorists. Sandhu said the upgraded structures have now been opened to traffic and that the visit focused on assessing road-safety features along the route.
