Several automotive companies reported their sales figures for July 2025, highlighting varied performance across domestic and export markets. Bajaj Auto recorded total sales of 366,000 units, marking a 3% year-on-year increase, with domestic sales declining by 13% but exports rising 28%. Escorts Kubota's tractor sales rose 2.7% to 7,154 units, driven by a 1.3% increase in domestic sales and a 25.3% surge in exports. Ashok Leyland reported an 8% year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales to 15,064 units, with medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) bus sales jumping 42%. SML Isuzu saw an 18.6% increase in total sales to 1,427 units, with cargo vehicle sales up 53.2% and passenger vehicle sales up 7.5%. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd sold 180,526 units in July, including domestic, OEM, and export sales. Mahindra & Mahindra posted a strong first quarter for fiscal year 2026, with revenue up 25.8% and profit after tax rising 32%; SUV sales increased 22.4% and tractor volumes grew 10.4%. In the U.S. market, Hyundai Motor Co. set a record with 79,543 vehicles sold in July, a 15% increase, while Mazda North American Operations reported total sales of 45,057 vehicles. Honda's total sales in July reached 121,017 units, showing a slight increase of 0.2%.
