The 'Fit India Sundays on Cycle' initiative continues to promote fitness and community engagement across India, with recent events held in Delhi and Gandhinagar. In Delhi, the event was organized in partnership with Residents Welfare Associations (RWAs) of Delhi-NCR at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium, where several cyclists participated alongside medal-winning wrestlers including Heena Ben, Manisha, Neelam, and Sarika. These athletes highlighted the importance of fitness, with Manisha emphasizing the value of staying active despite hectic weekdays and Neelam praising the program's organization and activities such as cycling, yoga, and rope exercises. The 31st edition of the event in New Delhi featured the presence of former WWE champion Dalip Singh Rana, known as The Great Khali, who encouraged young people to prioritize fitness and recalled how cycling was a common practice in earlier days promoting health. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya led the nationwide Fit India Sundays on Cycle campaign from Gandhinagar, urging the public to fully support the movement. The event also included participation from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), reflecting a broad coalition aimed at advancing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for a healthier India through cycling and active lifestyles.
