Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited youth across central government departments, addressing the recipients by video conference at 11:00 a.m. IST. The exercise formed the 16th edition of the nationwide Rozgar Mela, held simultaneously at 47 locations to streamline large-scale hiring for public-sector vacancies.
